Allie Farrell

Director, Strategic Initiatives

Allie Farrell joined Children’s Funding Project in 2021 and serves as Director of Strategic Initiatives. In this role, she builds and sustains relationships with national partners and funders, strengthens cross-team coordination, and leads high-priority initiatives that cut across the organization. As a strategic partner to the CEO, Allie helps translate vision into action—preparing leadership for key decisions and external engagements while advancing alignment across the organization’s work.

Prior to joining Children’s Funding Project, Allie worked at the Social System Design Lab at Washington University in St. Louis, where she partnered with high school students, educators, and community leaders to examine health and education inequities through systems thinking and participatory research. She brings more than a decade of experience in youth development and community engagement, including service as a Peace Corps Volunteer in South Africa, and a deep commitment to ensuring all young people have the opportunities and supports they need to thrive.

Originally from California, Allie holds a bachelor’s degree in international development from UCLA and a Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis. She lives in St. Louis, Missouri, with her husband and two children.
