Born and raised amidst the soulful vibes of Memphis, TN, Danyelle Norment has always had a deep love for her city. Her journey led her to The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in business management. While at the university, she became very involved in advocacy efforts on campus and established her belief in pouring into the community she loves.

Passionate about community engagement and empowerment, Danyelle dedicated the last five years to coordinating a youth-led community organizing program. During this time, the program achieved significant milestones, including passing the first sexual harassment and assault policy in the largest school district in Tennessee. Additionally, Danyelle played a crucial role in advocating for youth-created mental health legislation to be passed within the state. Through her efforts, she played a pivotal role in fostering collaboration and creating positive change within the community. Her commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders reflects her belief in the power of grassroots movements and community-driven initiatives.

Outside of her professional life, Danyelle is an active volunteer, lending her time to local campaigns that align with her values. When not immersed in community work, she finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. An avid reader and television enthusiast, Danyelle appreciates the power of storytelling in all its forms. She balances her passion for advocacy with intentional moments spent with family and friends, cherishing the bonds that make life truly meaningful.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Danyelle remains a proud Memphian, finding inspiration in the rich cultural tapestry and history of her hometown. With a blend of business acumen and a heart for community, she continues to make a meaningful impact in the places she calls home.
