Native Children’s Funding Project, a program within Children’s Funding Project, works alongside Native nations, Native communities, Tribal leaders, and advocates to transform the way public systems invest in Native children and youth.
We are not the architects of Tribal sovereignty; we are allies in building the financial and policy conditions that help it thrive. Our work supports self-determination by helping Native nations, states, and communities identify and align public dollars with their communities’ priorities, cultural values, and generational visions.
We support Tribal governments, Native-led organizations, and public partners committed to building sustainable funding systems for Native children and youth.
A national initiative to align federal, state, and local public funding with Tribal sovereignty and the well-being of Native children and youth, ensuring that resources support systems designed by and for Native communities.
