Arub Butt

Arub joined Children’s Funding Project in 2026 and serves as an associate for the federal fiscal policy team, focused on fiscal data and federal funding research. Her work helps apply research on federal funding and policy to maintaining fiscal data tools. Previously, Arub has worked in varying capacities throughout multiple sectors, including long-term care/health policy, climate policy, political campaigns, and an independent expenditure.

Arub holds a master’s in public policy degree from The George Washington University, where she specialized in public & private policy and management, and became certified in regulatory policy & practice. She received her bachelor’s degree in political science and history from Bryn Mawr College.

She is from New Jersey and in her free time enjoys traveling and spending time with friends & family.
